Looking to participate?

Any student at Conestoga High School is eligible to join the team, and prior experience is not necessary.

Student-Athlete

The Conestoga Squash Club allows team members to learn and play squash in a program whose goal is the development of the student-athlete.  We hold practice and home matches at Berwyn Squash & Fitness, close to the high school.  We have varsity and junior varsity teams, play matches against local public and private high schools, and encourage team-building activities for a positive player experience.

Various Levels

Team members can earn EEPE credit for participation.  Squash is a club sport at Conestoga High School, and participating team members can earn a varsity letter for all four years of involvement.  All members must be members of Berwyn Squash & Fitness Club.  Developmental team members do not need to join US Squash.  Any team member wishing to compete on the ladder or in team matches must join US Squash.

Supportive Community

You’ll train alongside like-minded CHS girls who encourage and inspire each other towards their fitness goals. The season runs from November through February.  The team also travels to and participates in the national high school championship competition sponsored by US Squash.

Why Play Squash?

Playing squash gives you the opportunity to participate in sports throughout your high school career.  Why is this important?  Consider these reasons:

Develop new or different friends on the squash team

Become part of a supportive group

Build your confidence playing a sport

Build camaraderie with teammates

Improve your focus

Look forward to something afterschool

Increase your independence

Gain a sense of accomplishment and pride as you improve

Promote team and school spirit

Studies show that 1 in 3 girls drop out of high school sports by late teens and that the sports dropout rate for girls is six times the rate for boys.  Don’t be a statistic. Get in the game and join the team.

Quick Start Guide

4 – Step registration: 2024 - 2025

01.

Photo Consent

Complete the photograph/video consent and the team participation waiver and email it to stogagirlssquashinfo@gmail.com. You will be included in the team emails and activities for the upcoming season.

02.

PIAA Form

Starting on October 20, 2024, submit your completed PIAA 2024-2025 Forms online through the PowerSchool Parent’s Portal.  (Conestoga’s Athletic Department will not accept PIAA forms for Winter Sports until October 20).

03. Join Berwyn Squash

If you are a beginner, join Berwyn Squash & Fitness. For beginners, use the Introduction to Squash Package for a 30-day membership ($100). For all others, renew your monthly junior membership ($54). A team member will contact you to include you in team activities, introduce you to the coaches, and help you start playing squash.

04.

Team Fees

Additional team paperwork will be completed at the team meeting in October. Team fees (coaching, High School Nationals, Interscholastic entrance fees, etc.) will be paid by check at that time. Team fees for the season will depend on the number of players joining each year. We will try to keep the costs as low as possible.
